a Christian, a wife, a mother, a nana, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and…a photographer.  I don’t always do a good job of balancing it all, but I keep trying.

addicted to coffee. Allergic to exercise. Shy.  Easily distracted. Sometimes forgetful.  I laugh at myself… a lot.

the most comfortable when I am barefoot in jeans and a t-shirt.  Totally casual is my favorite attire!

usually up by 4:00 every morning.  I am my most creative in the early morning quiet of a new day. I guess that might also mean I am a little strange… and I am my mother’s daughter.  =)

a dreamer.  I dream about living on the top of a mountain and seeing the sun rise every morning from my back porch.  I dream about watching the snow fall from the warmth of a cozy fireplace.  In reality, I will probably live out my life right here.  Still, I dream.

passionate about photography. I love to capture a baby’s yawn or a toddler’s first steps.  Seeing a child’s fearful glances turn in to smiles and giggles makes me heart smile.  A reluctant senior who smiles and hugs my neck the first time he sees his portraits warms my heart.  A Daddy’s tear when he realizes his “baby” is a beautiful young woman who is about to become another man’s wife tugs at my heart.
