Visit the Children for HOPE web site to vote! Vote as often and for as many children as you would like to! $1 per vote and it goes directly to the HOPE Women’s Resource Center.

Voting ends at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 8.

It’s that time again!! The annual benefit for the Hope Women’s Resource Center, “Children for Hope” (formerly “The Babes & Boys of Summer”) is underway and will run through August 20, 2011. Children from ages birth through 14 years are eligible to enter.
One image from each session will be on display in an online gallery during the month of September 2011. Votes for the winning image will be accepted for a $1 donation to the Hope Women’s Resource Center. The winner will receive a beautiful framed and matted 16×20 painted portrait from their session.
There will not be a physical display this year, but each entrant will receive an 8×10 easel back print of the image chosen for the benefit. Discounted portrait collections will be available for purchase.

I’ve got several Limited Editions coming up. A couple of brand new ones and some old favorites. When you complete three Limited Edition sessions during 2011, I will waive the $25 Limited Edition retainer for the rest of 2011! Furr-Ever Friends – February 10, 11 & 12
Capture the love of your child and his or her Furr-Ever Friend with this new Limited Edition . This should be fun! Sample image coming soon!

Chicklings & Bunnies – March 10, 11 & 12
Simple white background that focuses the attention on your child and the adorable little “chicklings” and bunnies. Dress them in their Easter finery or simple spring time wear. You choose. Either way is perfect!

Midnight Fairies – April 7, 8 & 9

Many of you have asked about this. Be sure to mark your calendars! These appointments fill up quickly. The Enchanted Forest only appears in the studio once a year. Magic happens when little girls put on their Fairy dresses and enter the Enchanted Forest… don’t miss this very special Limited Edition. This is not suitable for babies who cannot sit unattended.

Mommy & Me – Week of April 23 – 30

Black and white portraits that capture the love between a mother and child. Solid black long sleeve t-shirts and denim looks beautiful for this Limited Edition.

Gone Fishing – May 5, 6 & 7

You bring the overalls and the barefoot child. I’ll supply the pier and the pole! You never know what they’ll catch!

Just Like Daddy – Week of May 23 – 27

Every little boy or girl wants to be Just Like Daddy. Bring Daddy’s work (or play) clothes and we’ll capture your child being “Just Like Daddy.” Too cute! This is another “first edition” in our Limited Edition line up.

The 2010 Santa & Me Limited Edition was a huge success! Thank you so much to those of you who participated! I delivered a huge box of goodies to the Hope Women’s Resource Center Tuesday morning!

The response to Santa & Me has been amazing! The Hope Women’s Resource Center’s store will be overflowing thanks to all of you!

I have squeezed until it hurts trying to accomodate everyone who wants Santa & Me portraits, but sadly I can’t squeeze any more in. I don’t think either Santa or I could hold up to any more. I’ll start a waiting list just in case someone has to cancel, but that’s the best I can do.

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in Boo-A-tive Designs! I’ve got 2 big boxes to deliver to the White Hall Food Pantry, thanks to all of you! We photographed Pumpkins, Ninjas, & butterflies… Astronauts, Frankenstein, Princesses, Vampires & Lady Bugs. Luigi even came in for a visit! Fun, fun night! I’m… already excited about doing it again next year!

Let’s fill up the White Hall Food Pantry! On Satuday, October 30 from 4:00 until 8:00, bring in a non-perishable food item for the White Hall Food Pantry and have you child’s (or your??) portrait made in your Halloween costume. In exchange, you’ll receive a complimentary low-res digital image via facebook or email. No purchase required, just bring a non-perishable food item for each portrait.

You will have the option to purchase a hi-res digital file with a print release for $10 per image. A print release allows you to print as many copies as you like, where ever you choose. The file will be cropped to an 8×10 at 300 ppi.

Please download this file and have it filled out when you come in to speed things up and get you on your way.

I just realized that this coming Sunday is October 10, 2010! 10/10/10! I had a brain storm while I was doing some cleaning at the studio this morning and found ten 10×10 folios that we no longer offer. I thought it would be fun to do something with the 10 10×10 folios for 10/10/10. So, the first 10 people to call me before 10/10/10 to schedule a family portrait session (which by the way there is a special on) will receive a complimentary 10×10 folio with their Family Portrait Special order. Cool, huh?

Be sure to call before 10/10/10! You don’t have to have your portraits made before then, just call and schedule the appointment between now and December 3 when the special ends.

Did you know Christmas is only 100 days from today?!?!? ha! It shocked me too. Family portraits make a great gift any time of year, but especially so at Christmas! With that in mind, it’s Family Portrait time at Creative Designs Photography! Special collection pricing, is available from now through December 3, 2010.

Be sure to schedule early if you plan on getting Christmas cards! I’ve got some new designs this year that are absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait for you to see them!

I love doing the “Santa & Me” sessions every year! You never know how the children will react when they get a glimpse of Santa! Sometimes smiles & giggles, sometimes tears! Whatever their reaction, you’re sure to get some Christmas portraits that will bring a smile to your face for years to come! You’ll also be bringing a smile to the faces of Mommies and their babies at the Hope Women’s Resource Center. In lieu of a session fee, please help me stock the Hope store by bringing a NEW toy or baby outfit. (Please bring one item for each child who will be photographed.) Special collection pricing will be available.

Santa will be in the studio on Saturday, November 20th starting at 9:00. These sessions are by appointment only and they WILL fill up fast! Don’t wait too long to call and schedule your child’s special time with Santa!
